AIRAH invites submissions for Indoor Air Quality Conference 2024

Applications are now open for presenters at AIRAH’s Indoor Air Quality Conference 2024, which will be held on July 15 and July 16 at Crown Melbourne.

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of indoor air quality for human health and wellbeing became clearer than ever,” says AIRAH CEO Sami Zheng, Affil.AIRAH. “AIRAH is proud to host Australia’s leading IAQ conference, where professionals from a broad spectrum of disciplines can connect, innovate, and share ideas for the future.”

· The role of building operation on human health and wellbeing

· Mega-trends and indoor air quality

· Bushfires, floods, and other severe weather events

· Sustainable and healthy buildings

· Indoor air pollutants

· Physio-chemical pollutants

· Material emissions

· Outdoor/indoor interface

· Indoor air chemistry

· Microbial pollutants

· Surface contamination, air quality

· Emission causes

· Understanding the microbiomes of buildings

· Regulation, standards, policy, guidelines, education

· Occupant behaviour and lifestyle.

How to apply

Submissions should be emailed to AIRAH’s Conference and Events Manager, Marie Karekla, at by Friday, March 8. Presentations will be 25 minutes in length, including time for questions and answers.

Prospective presenters should note that abstracts and presentations must not contain overtly commercial material or include trade names in titles. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Submissions must include:

· A 300-word abstract submitted as a Word document

· A 100-word condensed abstract submitted as a Word document

· A 100-word biography submitted as a Word document

· A high-resolution presenter photograph.
