What to expect from a user-friendly NCC

The Australian Building Codes Board’s (ABCB) announced late last year that they would be releasing the 2022 National Construction Code (NCC) as a digital product, to make it more accessible and to improve its usability.

The ABCB is running a webinar about the changes to the NCC’s structure and format on Tuesday, April 20, to ensure they are widely known and understood.

Experts will explain what to expect and give examples of what the changes will look like. The ABCB is also holding a Q&A session to answer any questions.

The NCC is traditionally published in a hard copy format, but as it has evolved in recent decades, changes to its structure and format are now required. The ABCB aims to create a version that can be read in multiple formats to encourage greater adoption across the industry.

More information about NCC 2022 is available here, and registrations are open for the webinar via Zoom.
