AIRAH seeks EV-007 air quality representative

The Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) has put out a call for a representative on the Standards Australia committee EV-007 – Methods for Examination of Air.

The scope of work for this committee is standardisation in the measurement of ambient air quality, indoor air quality and stationary source emissions.

The committee’s new project involves the revision of AS 2365.7-2006 – Methods for sampling and analysis of indoor air – Part 7: Determination of total suspended particulate matter – Gravimetric method.

The work is part of AIRAH’s ongoing role as representatives on a range of Standards Australia technical committees, helping to write and manage standards relating to the HVAC&R sector.

The candidate will need to be confirmed by Standards Australia.

Self-nominations must be from AIRAH members. Further details are available upon request.

Members nominated by the Standards Australia technical committee will need to demonstrate a commitment and ability to comply with the Standards Australia committee member deed.
