Following a successful five-year period running Norman Disney & Young’s Perth office, Alan Edler has been appointed to lead NDY’s national civic and defence portfolios. Replacing him as director in charge of the NDY Perth office is Darrel Williams, who will officially start on January 1, 2019.
Since joining the company, Williams has worked in several NDY offices including Manchester, Sydney, Melbourne, and Jakarta. He has more than 30 years’ experience in building services consultancy design and management.
“Darrel is highly regarded by his colleagues and well respected by clients,” says NDY’s CEO Stuart Fowler, M.AIRAH. “His appointment to lead our Perth business demonstrates NDY’s ongoing commitment to maintaining our 50-plus year involvement in the Perth market.
“Under Alan’s leadership, the Perth Office has been involved in the successful delivery of many of the projects shaping the future of WA. These include the Perth Children’s Hospital, Capital Square (6 star Green Star), Optus Stadium, and the new Qantas international terminal.”
