Moreton Hire has introduced new air conditioning and heating systems to their service offering across Australia. This follows the appointment of Moreton Hire as the official marquee and temporary structure for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games hosted 71 nations and 6,500 athletes over 11 days. Moreton Hire was accountable for the installation of all marquees and temporary structures across 42 competition and non-competition venues around the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions.
“Commonwealth games requires the highest level of mechanical engineering in HVAC,” says Moreton Hire Managing Director Peter Morahan. “We have never seen this before in the Australian event market; it has completely redefined our ability to offer niche, bespoke packages for our clients.”
The company believes the introduction of the new systems shows its capacity to deliver for Australia’s largest events and will lead to new markets for the business. The systems range from a 4.5kW portable unit up to a 96kW tri-capacity unit. The range is supported with in-house electrical engineers for installation.
“The systems can be installed in data centers, commercial offices, retail spaces, disaster recovery, situations, projects facilities and of course, exhibition and events,” says Morahan.
