UAP Cooling has launched the Andel Floodline HLD range of control panels, with the aim of taking leak detection to new levels.
“This is a truly ground breaking system,” says UAP Cooling. “For the very first time the HLD allows the simultaneous connection and reporting from both Andel’s highly flexible multiple sensor zoned and more traditional, if inflexible , distance measuring ranger, liquid detection protocols, plus gas, temperature and humidity monitors. Indeed, the HLD can accept an incoming alarm from any modbus-enabled sensor, so for instance, movement or smoke. Hence its name: Hybrid Leak Detection.”
UAP Cooling describes the system as a mini-BMS system, if something more traditional is beyond budgetary reach. The smallest version, the “Number 4”, can accept 12 sensor inputs. This rises through six other versions to the top of the range “128” with an input capability of over 300 sensors.
“All HLD panels provide individual variable sensor alarm sensitivity and solenoid valve activation,” says UAP Cooling. “All this displays on a touchscreen carrying an imbedded map function to facilitate both written and graphic alarm notification, plus a whole range of other diagnostic functions. These make alarm verification far easier and importantly reduce costly maintenance call-outs through false alarms.”
Onward communication can be to a BMS using standard volt free outputs, modbus and ethernet and/or to individuals such as maintenance or supervisor personnel via email and SMS.
